A Vision for Secure Educators
Teacher's Pets is dedicated to supporting educators and school employees by helping them access veterinary care for the companion animals they love. We believe that the people who dedicate their lives to educating and supporting others should not have to face a pet medical crisis alone. Through charitable assistance, community partnerships, and donor support, Teacher's Pets helps educators keep their pets healthy, safe, and by their side. Our mission is to strengthen the well-being of educators, honor their service to our communities, and preserve the bond between educators and their pets.

The Heart Behind Our Mission
We are a dedicated team of educators, volunteers, and administrators working together to support our fellow teachers and their furry companions.
About the Founder
Teacher's Pets was founded by George Calderon, a Bay Area educator who believes that the people who dedicate their lives to serving students deserve support when facing life's unexpected challenges.
Throughout his work in education, George has seen firsthand the commitment, compassion, and sacrifices made by teachers and school employees every day. He also understands the important role that companion animals play in people's lives—not only as pets, but as family members, sources of comfort, and constant companions through both triumphs and hardships.
The idea for Teacher's Pets was born from a simple question:
"If educators spend their lives caring for others, who helps care for them when their pets need help?"
Determined to create a meaningful and lasting resource for the education community, George founded Teacher's Pets to provide veterinary assistance and support for educators and school employees. His vision is to build a trusted organization that honors educators by helping them care for the animals they love.
Teacher's Pets is rooted in compassion, gratitude, and a belief that small acts of support can make a profound difference in the lives of both people and their pets.
